Qualifications

  • BSN upon hire or MSN within 5 years of start date.

  • Minimum three years of relevant nursing experience.
  • Active RN license in Nebraska and BLS (AHA).

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, evaluate dynamic educational programs for nursing staff.
  • Mentor frontline nurses and integrate best practices to ensure high standards.
  • Provide clinical expertise and lead quality improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate transitions to practice, onboarding, residency, and preceptor programs.
  • Act as a clinical nursing leader and consultant for nursing practice.

As our Clinical Educator RN, you will be a pivotal leader, empowering our nursing teams with cutting-edge knowledge and skills to deliver exceptional patient care across various clinical settings. Every day, you will design, implement, and evaluate dynamic educational programs, mentor frontline nurses, and integrate best practices to ensure the highest standards of professional nursing. You'll drive continuous clinical excellence, fostering a culture of learning and innovation throughout our organization. To be successful in this role, you will combine advanced clinical expertise, exceptional communication and teaching abilities, and a passion for professional development, serving as a catalyst for growth and superior patient outcomes.

  • Assesses, researches, coordinates/facilitates, implements, and evaluates educational and professional development programs, services and systems as established by CHI Health nursing division and/or campus leadership.
  • Acts as role model, clinical nursing expert, change agent, mentor, and leader to the campus and CHI Health nursing division.
  • Serves as a consultant for organizational, divisional, and system initiatives and program development as related to nursing practice.
  • Actively seeks out evidence based practice and findings and applies to clinical excellence and education.
  • Provides clinical expertise and leadership to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinates and facilitates nursing transitions to practice and ongoing professional development through support of central onboarding, clinical orientation, nurse residency, fellowships, competency assessment, and preceptor and mentor programs.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) upon hire or Masters of Nursing (MSN) upon hire or completion of an MSN program within 5 years of start date
  • Nursing education experience demonstrating progressive experience in the development and implementation of clinical education programs
  • Minimum three years relevant nursing experience
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in Nebraska
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association
