Qualifications

• BSN required at hire; MSN preferred or completion within 5 years of start date.
• MSN program completion within 5 years of start date, upon hire.
• Nursing education experience developing and implementing clinical education programs.
• Minimum of three years of relevant nursing experience.
• Registered Nurse license required (NE).
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, coordinates, implements, and evaluates educational programs and services per CHI Health nursing guidelines.
• Acts as role model, clinical expert, and mentor to nursing staff across the campus and division.
• Consults on organizational initiatives and program development related to nursing practice.
• Integrates evidence-based practice and findings to improve clinical education and patient care.
• Provides leadership to quality improvement initiatives.
• Supports onboarding, orientation, nurse residency, fellowships, competency assessment, and preceptor programs.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Clinical Educator RN, you will be a pivotal leader, empowering our nursing teams with cutting-edge knowledge and skills to deliver exceptional patient care across various clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, researches, coordinates/facilitates, implements, and evaluates educational and professional development programs, services and systems as established by CHI Health nursing division and/or campus leadership.
• Acts as role model, clinical nursing expert, change agent, mentor, and leader to the campus and CHI Health nursing division.
• Serves as a consultant for organizational, divisional, and system initiatives and program development as related to nursing practice.
• Actively seeks out evidence based practice and findings and applies to clinical excellence and education.
• Provides clinical expertise and leadership to quality improvement initiatives.
• Coordinates and facilitates nursing transitions to practice and ongoing professional development through support of central onboarding, clinical orientation, nurse residency, fellowships, competency assessment, and preceptor and mentor programs.
