Job summary

TriHealth's Seton Center for Advanced Obstetrics is seeking a Perinatal Ultrasonographer to join our Maternal-Fetal Medicine team at Good Samaritan Hospital - Seton Center. Part-time schedule, 48 hours bi-weekly with 12-hour shifts from 7:00pm to 7:00am.

You will perform advanced obstetrical ultrasound examinations and collaborate with physicians handling high-risk pregnancies. The ideal candidate is an RDMS with OB/GYN cervical length certification and BLS, experienced in diagnostic imaging and

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Upon Hire (Required)
RDMS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Upon Hire (Required)
Other OB/GYN Cervical length certification within 1 Year Required

Responsibilities

Demonstrates knowledge of equipment and ultrasound protocols. Produces high quality images for interpretation.
Competently Performs when assisting with invasive procedures.
Completes studies accurately in a timely manner.
Exhibits positive attitude when communicating with physicians, patients and staff.
Accepts constructive criticism and strives for improvement. Shows flexibility.
Maintains all necessary certifications and demonstrates continued competence once certified.
Acts as a resource in the perinatal units for other sonographers, students and residents. Assists in the education with the above.
