Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown is seeking an Ultrasound Tech for Columbus Perinatal to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and invasive procedures in a high-risk obstetric setting. The role supports Maternal Fetal Medicine providers and requires ARDMS certification with BLS on hire.

Ideal candidates will have an AMA/JRCERT training background and OB ultrasound experience, with Nuchal Translucency and Fetal Echo credentials preferred. On-site position at the Columbus Midtown facility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• In lieu of above, equivalent experience according to Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC).
• 1 year OB ultrasound experience preferred.
• ARDMS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonography - required upon hire.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support - required upon hire.
• Nuchal Translucency certification within 1 year required.
• Fetal Echo Credential within 1 year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices.
• Provides patient services using imaging modalities.
• Patient services include diagnostic ultrasounds of inpatient high-risk pregnancies under the care of Maternal Fetal Medicine providers.
