Job summary

Advocate Sherman Hospital is seeking an experienced MFM Sonographer with fetal echo experience to join our Maternal Fetal Diagnostics team. The role involves performing comprehensive OB/GYN ultrasound procedures, including invasive steps when needed, and delivering high-quality imaging for diagnosis in a high-risk OB/GYN setting.

The candidate should be ARDMS-registered, with fetal echo proficiency and CPR certification, and be prepared for a 36-hour work week with a sign-on bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Experience in OB/GYN ultrasound and fetal echocardiography is preferred.
• Requires ARDMS OB Certification and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive OB/GYN ultrasound exams and related vascular procedures.
• Provide high-quality images and documented findings for physician review.
• Assist during invasive procedures (amniocentesis, sonohysterograms, endometrial biopsies, chorionic villi sampling).
• Maintain patient care, safety, and professional communication.
• Label images and document findings in the Perinatal computer system.
