Job summary

AdventHealth in Shawnee Mission, Kansas, seeks a perinatal ultrasound technologist to optimize imaging, assess fetal development, and support OB/GYN procedures. You will perform thorough exams, communicate findings to the team, and maintain patient safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• Detailed fetal anatomic surveys (Required).
• Doppler assessment of arterial/venous vessels (Required).
• Nuchal translucency (Required).
• Fetal growth assessments (Required).
• Biophysical Profiles (Required).
• Transvaginal cervical length assessments (Required).
• Provide sonographic assistance for procedures (Required).
• English communication skills required (read/write/speak) (Required).

Responsibilities

• Optimizes ultrasound settings for accurate image acquisition.
• Differentiates normal from abnormal fetal development.
• Identifies markers of aneuploidy.
• Applies biomedical knowledge to patient care during procedures.
• Conducts thorough ultrasound examinations.
• Communicates findings to healthcare providers.
• Maintains patient comfort and safety during procedures.
• Keeps detailed patient records.
• Collaborates with medical team to provide care.
• Participates in continuing education.
