Truman Medical Centers UH Lakewood Medical Center in Kansas City, MO is seeking a skilled Perinatal Sonographer for a PRN role in Medical Imaging. You will perform advanced perinatal ultrasound imaging, collaborate with perinatologists and radiologists, and support training within the department.

The position requires graduation from an accredited ultrasound program, ARDMS or AART certification, OB/GYN registry, RVT or VT upon hire, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program.
• Registered in ARDMS or AART in good standing.
• OB/GYN registry required.
• RVT or VT certification upon hire or within 12 months of hire date.
• BLS certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced perinatal ultrasound imaging with precision and expertise.
• Provide technical support during specialized imaging studies.
• Collaborate with Perinatologists and Radiologists to ensure top-tier patient care.
• Support training and education initiatives within the department.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
