Job summary

Advocate Health Care is seeking a Perinatal Ultrasound Technologist to perform comprehensive OB/GYN ultrasound examinations and document findings for diagnosis. The role includes physiologic fetal well‑being assessment and image optimization, with involvement in invasive procedures when needed.

The candidate should have AMA‑approved ultrasound training, OB/GYN experience, ARDMS certification, and CPR, with commitment to ongoing CME in perinatal imaging.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved school of ultrasound.
• 2 years OB/GYN experience preferred.
• ARDMS OB registration and Nuchal Translucency certification desirable.
• CPR certification and ongoing CME in obstetric imaging.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive OB/GYN ultrasound exams including vascular assessment.
• Provide physiologic assessment of OB/GYN vasculature and fetal well‑being.
• Document findings and communicate with ordering physicians promptly.
• Assist during invasive procedures such as amniocentesis and sonohysterography.
• Maintain equipment and ensure image quality and labeling.
