The role requires 3+ years of perinatal experience, OB/GYN credentials, and strong English communication. Full-time days, with a focus on compassionate patient care and precise reporting for providers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of perinatal sonography experience
• ARDMS/ARRT OB/GYN certification required
• RDMS-OBGYN credential required

Responsibilities

• Optimize ultrasound settings for accurate image acquisition.
• Differentiate normal from abnormal fetal anatomy.
• Identify sonographic markers indicative of aneuploidy.
• Demonstrates knowledge of biomedical sciences relevant to sonography.
• Communicates findings effectively to healthcare providers.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety during ultrasound procedures.
• Keep accurate and detailed patient records.
• Collaborate with the medical team to provide comprehensive care.
• Participate in continuing education to stay current with sonography practices.

• Optimizes ultrasound settings for accurate image acquisition.
• Differentiates normal from abnormal fetal anatomic development

• Demonstrates knowledge of biotechnological and biomedical sciences relevant to sonography.
• Applies biomedical knowledge to patient care during sonographic procedures.
• Conducts thorough and precise ultrasound examinations. Communicates findings effectively to healthcare providers.
• Maintains patient comfort and safety during ultrasound procedures
• Keeps accurate and detailed patient records.
• Collaborates with medical team to provide comprehensive care.
• Participates in continuing education to stay current with sonographic practices.

• Detailed fetal anatomic surveys [Required]
• Doppler assessment of arterial and venous blood vessels. [Required]

• Transvaginal cervical length assessments [Required]
• Provide sonographic assistance for procedures (chorionic villus sampling, amniocentesis, cerclage) [Required]
• Demonstrates ability to communicate by reading, writing legibly, speaking, and comprehending English effectively to carry out job requirements [Required]

Education:

• High School Grad or equiv [Required]

Field of Study:

• Graduation from a school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography

Work Experience:

• 3+ experience in perinatal sonography [Required]
• Clinical ultrasound/vascular experience as approved by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in OB/Gyn [Required]
• Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography Experience [Preferred]

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
