Hi-Desert Medical Center is seeking a Perinatal Nurse to deliver direct patient care in the Perinatal Services Unit, coordinating care for antepartum, labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum mothers and newborns. Provide family-centered care and collaborate with physicians, families, and staff.

The role requires RN licensure in CA, ACLS/NRP within specified timelines, and proficiency in fetal monitoring. Night shifts with a weekend rotation offer a sign-on bonus based on experience.

Qualifications

• BSN or ADN from an accredited school.
• CA RN license current.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS within 30 days of hire.
• NRP within 30 days of hire.
• Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring certification for experienced L&D nurses.
• Intro to Fetal Heart Monitoring within 90 days for RNs without experience.
• APS (GNOSIS) module and addressing weaknesses within three months.

Responsabilités

• Conducts complete assessment following guidelines to ensure comprehensive care.
• Develops plan of care based on assessment and patient needs.
• Implements plan per department standards and Nurse Practice Act.
• Evaluates interventions and adjusts as needed to meet outcomes.
• Documents care accurately and timely.
• Demonstrates effective communication and prioritization.
• Uses department protocols and maintains clean, safe environment.
• Assumes charge nurse duties as assigned.
