Job summary

UCLA Health in Los Angeles is seeking a Perinatal RN to provide high-quality care in Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units. The role includes supervising interventions, guiding the team, and delivering education to patients and staff.

The position requires a BSN or MSN, 3 years of Perinatal RN experience (or 2 years at UCLA Health), BLS and NRP certifications, with NCC certification preferred. The workload includes floating to multiple UCLA Health locations as needed.

Qualifications

• BSN or MSN degree is required.
• 3 years of Perinatal RN experience or 2 years UCLA Health Perinatal experience (including labor, delivery and postpartum) required.
• Travel or extensive Perinatal RN experience in an acute hospital setting preferred.
• BLS certification from Red Cross or AHA required.
• NRP certification required; NCC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing care for Perinatal patients.
• Supervise nursing interventions and assign related tasks.
• Assess learning needs of patient, family and staff and deliver appropriate clinical education.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement the care plan.
