Job summary

UCLA Health seeks a skilled Perinatal Registered Nurse to deliver exceptional care across Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units. This float position covers UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital, Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, and UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center, requiring strong bedside skills, BSN/MSN, and current

Qualifications

• Current California RN license required.
• BSN or MSN degree required.
• 3 years of Perinatal RN experience or 2 years of UCLA Health Perinatal experience (including labor, delivery, and postpartum) required.
• BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required.
• NRP certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics and American Heart Association required.
• NCC Certification preferred.
• Strong nursing assessment and care planning skills.
• transcripts/diploma provided on hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing care for Perinatal patients (Labor & Delivery/Postpartum).
• Supervise nursing interventions and assign related tasks.
• Assess patient, family and staff learning needs and deliver clinical education.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Float to UCLA Health units based on census and staff skills.
