Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health Beverly Hospital is seeking a Per Diem Rotating Surgical Technologist to support labor and delivery services. Under the RN, you will assist with sterile technique, instrument handling, and setup of delivery and operating rooms.

This role requires CST and NBSTSA certification, BLS, and graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program; CNA or related skills are a plus. Per diem, flexible shifts, and teamwork are valued for patient safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program; CST and NBSTSA certification required.
• High School graduate or equivalent; BLS certification.
• CNA training or equivalent experience (multi-skilled CNA, EKG, phlebotomy) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the RN, perform basic operating room skills and maintain aseptic practices.
• Disassemble and prepare delivery tables and carts; restock instruments and supplies.
• Ensure readiness of delivery and operating rooms and monitor patient safety in the OR and labor rooms.
• Assist in emergency situations and report urgent data to the RN.
