Job summary
Harris Health System, Inc. is seeking a Nursing Program Manager (NPM) to oversee the operational, human resources, quality, and financial management of assigned nursing areas.
The NPM translates strategic plans into actionable programs and ensures implementation of the Nursing Professional Practice Model (NPPM) with measurable outcomes. The role requires an RN licensed in Texas, BSN (Master's preferred), NRP or equivalent, BLS, and at least 3 years in perinatal settings plus 1 year of
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with a BSN; Master’s preferred.
- Licensed RN in TX with current NRP or an office-approved equivalent; BLS from AHA.
- 3 years of work experience in perinatal setting; 1 year of management/leadership experience.
- Certification in administration or clinical specialty to be completed within 2 years.
Responsibilities
- Oversee operational, human resource, quality, and financial management of assigned nursing specialty area(s)/programs.
- Translate pavilion and department strategic plans into actionable operations; ensure NPPM implementation and outcomes.
- Mentor staff, promote shared governance, and ensure professional nursing practice aligns with regulatory standards.
