Job summary

MedStar Georgetown University Hospital is hiring for a part-time or full-time Clinical Nurse on the Postpartum Mother/Baby Couplet Unit in Washington, DC. You will deliver skilled, compassionate care to new mothers and their families and coordinate with an interdisciplinary team to support high-quality outcomes.

Qualified candidates hold an active DC RN license, BSN preferred, and have at least two years of Mother/Baby hospital experience.

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• At least two years of recent hospital-based Mother/Baby nursing experience; high-risk experience preferred.
• Active DC RN license and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, compassionate care to postpartum patients and families.
• Assess evolving patient conditions and develop care plans.
• Collaborate with nursing team to deliver interdisciplinary care.
