Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse for its Postpartum Unit in Maryland. The role involves delivering skilled nursing care, assessing patient conditions, and coordinating care plans with the nursing team to support families through routine and complex needs.

The position emphasizes compassionate, family-centered care in a 23-bed unit with a focus on safety, education, and collaboration with obstetric and pediatric teams. Active RN licensure and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).

You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans.
