Covenant Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Fort Sanders Perinatal Center in Tennessee. This full-time, day-shift position supports outpatient clinical care under provider supervision and practice management oversight.

The role includes vital signs, phlebotomy, injections, medication administration, patient education, and coordination with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality care for women with high-risk pregnancies.

Qualifikationen

• Must hold a Tennessee LPN license and be in good standing.
• American Heart Association BLS required.
• Experience with outpatient clinic procedures preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assesses patient condition, takes vital signs and weight.
• Assists provider with exams and procedures including phlebotomy, injections, suturing, and other office tasks.
• Administers medications per order and policy with correct dosing and routes.
• Trains and orients assigned staff as applicable.
• Trims patient education and wellness materials during visits.
• Triages patient calls and prioritizes urgent appointments.
• Maintains medical records and documents interventions and responses.
• Ensures supplies are stocked and equipment is maintained.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
• Performs referrals and pre-certifications as needed.
