Qualifications

• Must have 5 yrs experience with IBCLC certification.
• Reads and understands the English language.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Independent work habits and self-direction.

• Follow OSHA guidelines and maintain attendance.
• Experience in perinatal and lactation education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Upholds IBCLC standards and professional conduct.
• Protects, promotes and supports breastfeeding through education and advocacy.
• Provides competent services for mothers and families, including feeding plans.
• Recordkeeping and communication with mothers, infants and care providers.
• Collaborates with health care team to deliver coordinated services.
