Job summary

Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, GA seeks an experienced RN (PRN) for Labor & Delivery to support patient care during labor, delivery and postpartum periods.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, administering medications under physician supervision, documenting care, triage, education, and collaborating with physicians, LPNs and techs; requires GA RN license and BCLS; neonatal care exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• RN – Associate Degree required; BSN preferred.
• Knowledge of English; ability to read and communicate effectively.
• Willingness to work in high-stress environments and adhere to policies.
• Ability to supervise LPNs and techs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patient and family needs to provide quality care.
• Develop, discuss, and communicate plan of care with patient and family.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and discharge planning.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.
• Ensure safety and adherence to hospital policies.
