Job summary

Cache Valley Hospital, part of the HCA Healthcare network, is seeking an experienced Women’s Services RN for a PRN role in Labor and Delivery and Postpartum/Couplet care. You will provide direct patient care, develop individualized care plans, and support families during the perinatal period.

The position requires Utah RN licensure (or compact), BLS/ACLS, and STABLE within 90 days; NRP preferred. One year of L&D experience is desirable, with opportunities for growth and recognition within a

Qualifications

• Current State of Utah or Compact RN license required.
• BLS/BCLS and CPR certification within 7 days of hire.
• ACLS/ALS certification and renewal within 90 days of hire.
• S.T.A.B.L.E. certification within 90 days of hire.
• NRP certification preferred; obtain within 90 days of hire.
• 1+ year of Labor and Delivery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome perinatal patients to the LDRP Unit and provide a secure, confident care environment.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or treatment response.
• Communicate with physicians about patient status, fetal monitoring and diagnostic results.
• Perform nursing duties across Maternal Child health continuum of care.
• Participate in department process improvement activities.
• Maintain composure and professionalism under pressure.
