Job summary

UC San Diego Health is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to oversee start-up, recruitment, screening, enrollment and maintenance of subjects in the Perinatal Pathology division for CPD, coordinating with OBGYN, Neonatology and other departments.

You will ensure regulatory compliance, write submissions, manage data collection and biospecimen handling, train staff, and liaise with PIs and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated experience in clinical research and protocol evaluation.
• Experience with data management and regulatory processes (GCP/IATA/HRPP).
• Proven ability to manage timelines and coordinate multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate start-up procedures for observational clinical studies in the CPD division.
• Lead recruitment, screening, enrollment and maintenance of study subjects.
• Ensure regulatory submissions, amendments and safety reports are prepared and filed.
• Oversee data collection, biospecimen handling, and quality control of study documentation.
• Provide direction to research staff and liaise with PIs and external partners.
