Job summary

Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center One Day Surgery PACU in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse to join a fast-paced perioperative team. The PACU cares for diverse surgical patients with Phase I and II areas, offering broad exposure and skill development in perianesthesia nursing.

The role requires an accredited nursing program completion, state RN license, and BLS; ACLS is required and at least one year of CCU/ED/PACU experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license in the relevant state.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification (ACLS required).
• ACLS certification required.
• At least 1 year of Critical Care, Emergency Department, or PACU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Deliver care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Utilize evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, and effective communication to ensure patient safety and quality experience across the continuum.
