Job summary

Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PACU. The position is part-time with variable hours, including Sun–Sat days and nights, and pay ranges from $38.20 to $57.30 per hour. PRN as needed.

The role requires NC RN licensure, BLS, and preferred ACLS/PALS with at least one year of critical care, ED, or PACU experience. You will deliver high‑quality perioperative care in a Level I Trauma Center setting.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license issued by the state where practicing.
• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification (American Heart Association).
• ACLS and PALS strongly preferred.
• At least one year of critical care, emergency department, or PACU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care in line with standards and policies.
• Lead efforts to ensure the safest patient environment and best care experience.
