Job summary

SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse Pre-Assessment Testing on-site in Minnesota to support perioperative care. You will assess patients, prep for anesthesia, and coordinate screening and clearance with the surgical team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing.
• One year pre-op, PACU, and/or medical/surgical nursing experience.
• Current state licensure to practice within good standing.
• BLS/BCLS within 90 days of employment or current certification.
• ACLS within 90 days of employment or current certification.
• PALS certification if pediatric care is included in scope.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health.
• Describe underlying pathophysiology of common disease processes.
• Describe physiology of anesthesia techniques and perioperative interventions.
• Develop an individualized perianesthesia plan by communicating status across care continuum and reviewing medical history and plan.
