Job summary

Austin Regional Clinic is seeking a Peri-Operative Registered Nurse to provide nursing care in a single operating room, supervising patient care and maintaining compliance with standards, policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include preparing the OR, implementing care plans, ensuring asepsis, and coordinating with anesthesia and surgical teams. Texas RN license and BLS/ACLS CPR are required; PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Two (2) or more years RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in the Peri-Operative setting with adherence to standards and organization policies.
• Assess patient and family needs to provide quality care.
• Organize time, equipment, supplies, and personnel for efficient case management.
