Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, California, seeks a Critical Care Nurse Educator focusing on peri-operative education. The role centers on developing and implementing staff development, orientation, and mandatory in-service programs for peri-operative staff, plus training on new products and equipment.

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, 3 years RN experience with 1 year in peri-operative services, CA RN licensure, and BLS and OR/OR-certified training.

Formación

• Three (3) years (within the past five years) of full-time experience as a Registered Nurse in which one (1) year must be in Peri-Operative Services unit.
• A Master's Degree in Nursing may substitute for one (1) year of experience in Peri-Operative Services.

Responsabilidades

• Devising and implementing staff development, continuing education, orientation and in-service programs in Peri-Operative areas.
• Coordinating and presenting mandatory in-service and competency programs; developing training in new products and equipment.
• Maintaining continuing education records and reports for licensing agencies and department records.
• Training staff in new and updated procedures and techniques; developing training materials and updating policies and procedures.
