Job summary

MANE is seeking a Perfumery Technician in New York to support day-to-day lab operations and assist perfumers with compounding trial oils for evaluation and testing. You will handle ingredient palettes, ensure accuracy, and maintain GLP compliance in a fast-paced lab environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain the palette of ingredients needed to weigh samples from the formula.
• Check raw material integrity and ensure accurate, timely compounding per worksheet procedures.
• Follow Good Laboratory Practices as instructed.
• Prepare oils freshly compounded in bases upon request; bring perfumer's trials to Applications when needed.
• Manage and file oil leftovers for quick retrieval and reference (olfactive, QC).
• Keep the workstation and lab tidy; support special tasks/projects to meet objectives.

We have an immediate opening for a Perfumery Technicianatour NYC Creative Center! The general scope of this role will be to perform day-to-day lab operations and support the Perfumers with compounding trial oils, for purposes of evaluation and testing.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the maintenance of the palette of ingredients (quantitatively and qualitatively) necessary to weigh the sample from the formula.
• Checks integrity of raw material/oil in bottle, compounds accurately and in a timely fashion by following procedures and instructions written on the worksheet. Accountable for first oil sample sent to customer which will become the standard (reference) for future resampling.
• Follows Good Laboratory Practices as instructed.
• Put the oils freshly compounded in bases upon request. Bring Perfumer's trials to Applications if necessary.
• Manages and files oil leftovers for quick retrieval (for olfactive reference, QC, etc.)
• Responsible for tidiness of the workstation and lab.
• Handle special tasks and projects as requested in order to meet company objectives.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $28 per hour to $32 per hour. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications, geographic location, and applicable legal considerations. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, which is awarded based on both individual and company performance.
