Job summary

PetLab Co. is seeking a Video Editor and Producer focused on AI-powered performance ads. This remote role is US-based and reports to the Head of Innovation.

You’ll produce high-volume ads for Meta, TikTok and YouTube, combining AI-generated video, UGC, creator footage and stock to drive conversions. The role requires a proven track record in direct-response editing, 4+ years in paid social for DTC/ecommerce, and proficiency with Premiere Pro or CapCut, plus AI video tools.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of video editing experience, including paid social ads for DTC/eCommerce
• Proven experience creating AI-powered ads with a portfolio of AI-generated ads
• Hundreds or thousands of paid social ads produced with measurable results (ROAS/CPA)
• Strong written and spoken English, comfortable presenting ideas to a global team
• Experience with AI video tools and integration into editing workflow
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro and/or CapCut; After Effects or DaVinci Resolve a plus

Responsibilities

• Performance Video Editing: turn briefs and footage into high-converting ads for Meta, TikTok and YouTube
• Creative Strategy & Scripting: write scripts, hooks and CTAs; shape briefs and shot lists
• AI Video Production: generate AI videos/avatars, AI voiceovers, localize content; fix AI outputs for realism
• Iteration & Testing: produce many variations, analyze metrics, optimize for conversions
