Job summary

Home Chef is seeking a talented video content producer to join our Marketing team in Illinois. You will be hands-on in creating performance-driven social content across paid and organic channels, collaborating with the video team to turn briefs into high-performing short-form content.

You should bring advanced shoot-and-edit skills, platform-native storytelling, and light copywriting to craft hooks, captions, VO scripts, and on-screen text in Home Chef's voice.

Qualifications

• Four year degree or equivalent work experience.
• Hands-on production, on-camera, UGC-style shooting, and video editing with Premiere Pro + After Effects.
• Strong creative instincts with ability to use performance data to inform decisions.
• Light copywriting: hooks, captions, on-screen text.
• Basic design fluency to create simple graphics and thumbnails.

Responsibilities

• Develop performance-focused creative concepts and hooks for social campaigns.
• Lead full production process: shooting, editing, storyboarding, and delivery.
• Edit videos using Premiere Pro + After Effects for multiple social channels.
• Optimize videos for platform-specific formats and durations.
• Write hooks, captions, and on-screen text in Home Chef's voice.
• Create simple graphics, thumbnails, and end cards that are on-brand.
• Collaborate with editors, producers, and creatives to raise output quality.
