Qualifications

  • 5+ years managing paid digital advertising campaigns at scale.
  • Proven track record of improving measurable business results through paid acquisition.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Google Ads (Search, Display, Shopping, Performance Max).
  • Experience managing campaigns on at least one additional platform: Microsoft Ads, TikTok, YouTube, or Meta.
  • Proven ability to set up tracking (GA4, GTM) and analyze marketing funnel metrics.
  • Experience with A/B testing, experimentation, and landing page optimization.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; able to explain data-driven insights clearly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to explain concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
  • Highly organized and meticulous with documentation and process.

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily paid media operations and optimize campaigns for ROI.
  • Build and manage campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, YouTube, and TikTok.
  • Manage budgets to maximize ROI; scale winners and pause underperformers.
  • Refine targeting, keywords, and bidding strategies based on performance data.
  • Report campaign performance to leadership with clear insights weekly.
  • Design and run 4–6 structured experiments per week across channels.
  • Document experiment results with hypothesis, results, insights, and business impact.
  • Collaborate with Creative, Product, and Analytics teams to improve CAC and ROAS.
  • Set up tracking and ensure data integrity across platforms.
  • Provide weekly funnel insights to Product, Engineering, and Sales teams.

The Role

We are seeking a hands‑on Performance Marketing Lead who thinks like a scientist, operates like an engineer, and reports like a professional. This is an execution‑focused role for someone who loves solving growth problems, testing ideas, and seeing measurable business impact from their work.

This is not an administrative role; you'll be in the campaigns daily. You'll set up tracking, optimize targeting, launch experiments, analyze results, and make recommendations backed by data. You'll work closely with creative, product, and analytics teams to continuously improve customer acquisition and campaign efficiency.

The ideal candidate combines the empathy of understanding customer experience with the discipline of a process‑driven operator—meticulous on documentation, firm on timelines, rigorous in testing, and persuasive in presenting data‑backed recommendations.

Requirements
What You'll Own
As Performance Marketing Lead, you will own the following functional areas:

1. Daily Paid Media Execution & Campaign Optimization

2. Build, launch, and manage campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Display, Performance Max), Microsoft Ads (Bing), YouTube, and TikTok

4. Manage budgets to maximize ROI; scale winning campaigns, pause underperformers

5. Refine audience targeting, keywords, bidding strategies based on performance data

6. Report campaign performance to CEO weekly with clear insights and recommendations

Structured Experimentation & Learning Program

1. Design and execute 4-6 structured experiments per week across targeting, keywords, bidding, creative, landing pages, offers

2. Document 100% of experiment results with hypothesis, results, insights, and business impact

3. Conduct weekly performance reviews with CEO: analyze results, identify winners, plan next week's tests

4. Systematically scale winning experiments into ongoing campaigns; retire underperforming approaches

Creative Performance & Collaboration

1. Analyze ad performance by creative asset; identify winners and detect creative fatigue

2. Provide data‑driven feedback to Creative Strategist on what's working and what to test next

3. Scale high‑performing creative; test new hooks, messaging, and offers continuously

4. Work with the creative strategist to maintain the pipeline

Funnel Optimization & Cross-Team Collaboration

2. Work with Product/Design on landing page optimization and A/B testing

3. Collaborate with Engineering on registration flow optimization and conversion improvement

4. Provide weekly funnel insights to Product, Engineering, and Sales teams

Analytics, Reporting & Data Integrity

1. Set up and maintain accurate tracking via Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, platform native reporting

2. Track all key metrics: impressions, clicks, conversions, CTR, CPC, CAC, ROAS, cost‑per‑registration

3. Prepare detailed weekly reports for CEO on revenue, ROAS by channel, CAC trends, and actionable insights

4. Ensure data integrity and troubleshoot tracking issues across all platforms

Qualifications:
