RWJBarnabas Health seeks a Performance Improvement Coordinator at Trinitas Regional Medical Center in Elizabeth, NJ. You will coordinate PI activities, educate staff, and serve as PI liaison in Medical Staff departments, driving PDCA-based improvements and monitoring mortality and credentialing trends.

The role requires a health-related bachelor’s degree, NJ RN license (or equivalent like LPN), and 2+ years in quality/performance improvement, with strong computer and reporting software skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health or nursing required/preferred.
• New Jersey RN license or equivalent (LPN considered) preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in quality management or performance improvement requested.
• Computer literacy and experience with quality reporting software required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate PI activities per the PDCA cycle and educate staff and leaders.
• Serve as PI representative at Medical Staff Departments meetings and prepare the PI agenda.
• Oversee mortality review process and credentialing PI trends for departments.
• Monitor action plans, maintain department report cards, and identify PI priorities.
• Lead or participate in Survey Readiness and Core measures teams.
• Investigate medical records for PI initiatives and assist with accreditation readiness.
