Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Performance Engineer to oversee performance, reliability, and optimization for a fleet of two fossil power plants in the PJM region. You will monitor, analyze, and improve performance, reliability, availability, and operational risk using performance engineering, reliability engineering, predictive analytics, and condition monitoring techniques.

You will identify and develop tools for analyzing asset performance, conduct data analyses to spot efficiency opportunities,

Qualifications

3-7 years' experience in power generation or industrial plant processes.
Experience with performance monitoring tools: GADS, OSI PI, EtaPRO.
Experience with plant performance analysis (turbines or plant systems) preferred.
Excellent communication skills to articulate plant performance issues, risks, and root cause analysis.
Familiar with analytical tools: Tableau, Power BI.
Willingness to travel up to 40% annually.

Responsibilities

Monitor, analyze and improve performance, reliability, and availability of two fossil power plants in the PJM region.
Develop tools to analyze operating asset performance and identify efficiency opportunities.
Support root cause investigations and develop recommendations to optimize operations and maintenance strategies.
Contribute to lifecycle asset management and risk mitigation.
