Job summary

EthosEnergy Power Solutions, LLC is seeking a skilled Generation/Plant Engineer to join the Performance Center. You will remotely monitor and analyze plant performance, interface with plant staff and SMEs, and drive actions to improve reliability and efficiency across power, renewables, and storage facilities.

You will utilize APR and thermal modeling tools, supporting SCADA/DCS operations, and dispatch remote personnel as needed.

Qualifications

• Six to ten years of experience in drum-type, supercritical, and/or CCGT fossil fueled power plants.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Experience with Advanced Pattern Recognition and/or diagnostic tools.
• Experience with power plant controls and vibration analysis of rotating equipment.
• Analytical skills to provide decision making support to plants regarding improvements.
• Working knowledge of APR and thermal performance software.

Responsibilities

• Remote Monitoring of plant equipment and performance metrics.
• Establish protocols for communication between plant staff and center staff.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Develop, maintain, and use APR and thermal models to detect changes in operating behavior.
• Interpret alarms and interact with staff to optimize plant equipment.
• Coordinate with SMEs to assess equipment anomalies and provide recommendations.
