Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, data analytics, computer science, physics, renewable energy, or related discipline; 1–3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience analyzing time-series or operational data, including identifying data gaps, outliers, sensor issues, and timestamp consistency; advanced Excel and Python/SQL.
• Demonstrated ability to investigate technical issues, quantify performance impacts, and communicate findings across stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of solar PV or BESS operations, electrical systems, SCADA/DAS data, and core performance concepts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor portfolio performance using SCADA, DAS, BMS, EMS, telemetry, and analytics platforms; review asset health, alarms, availability, and trends.
• Compare actual performance with budgets, forecasts, weather-adjusted expectations, models, and contractual requirements.
• Calculate and interpret solar KPIs including performance ratio, availability, capacity factor, degradation, and forecast-to-actual production.
• Investigate routine to moderately complex underperformance, distinguishing failures from weather or data-quality issues.
