Job summary

Bank of America in the United States is seeking a Senior Performance Test Engineer to drive testing strategy and automation for business-critical applications. You will lead test planning across platforms, design test data, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve performance bottlenecks.

Responsibilities include implementing AI-driven automation, defining frameworks, and delivering high-quality test reports.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Performance Testing and/or Performance Engineering for large-scale enterprise applications.
• Proficient in LoadRunner VuGen 12.x or later, with advanced scripting expertise beyond basic record-and-playback.
• Hands-on experience developing performance test scripts using HTTP/HTML, Web Services, MQ, Java, and TruClient protocols.
• Experience developing performance test strategies, test plans, workload models, UI/API/MQ scripts, scenarios, and reports.
• Experience in non-functional testing including load, stress, endurance, scalability, capacity, and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Independently managing tasks (LRE scripting, test strategy & planning, testing, monitoring, profiling, reporting).
• Leading performance defect triage meetings and driving solutions.
• Coordinating with team members and stakeholders for root cause analysis of issues and bottlenecks.
• Demonstrating expert-level communication skills.
• Designing test data and ensuring data compliance across environments.
