Job summary

Alpha seeks a Performance Coach to lead Guides, coach life skills workshops, and drive an excellence culture across campuses. You’ll build teams, set high standards, and motivate students to exceed expectations in a non-traditional K-12 model.

This full-time, on-site role requires 5+ years in education or leadership, a relevant degree, and data-driven decision making. Relocation support is available, with campuses in multiple cities; US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or related field; Master's preferred.
• At least 5 years in education, coaching, learning and development, or leadership.
• Experience leading teams of five or more; hiring and termination decisions.
• Experience using data to drive performance improvements.
• Experience with children ages 5-14 in educational or coaching setting.
• Experience launching or building a new team or campus from zero.
• Willingness to work in a non-traditional education model.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Coaching Guides to deliver exceptional student experiences while maintaining Alpha's high standards.
• Leading engaging life skills workshops that develop communication, leadership, focus, and other real-world skills for K-12 students.
• Motivating students to achieve ambitious learning goals and maximize progress in their self-directed academic programs.
• Using data, observation, and coaching conversations to improve Guide performance and student outcomes.
• Helping launch and establish new Alpha campuses by building a culture centered on excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
