Job summary

Goodwill Greater Milwaukee & Chicago is seeking a leader to head the GWGL Performance Support function. You will turn operational, contract, financial, workforce, compliance, quality, and customer data into clear information that informs decisions and improves performance across Food Service and Logistics.

The role leads priorities, dashboards and executive reporting, partnering with Corporate Data Analytics, IT, Finance and HR to deliver practical local solutions while upholding data standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years managerial experience (or 7+ years depending on education).
• 3+ years in BI, analytics, reporting, or related field.
• Ability to advise leaders and summarize complex information.
• Proficient Power BI skills and advanced Excel.
• Working knowledge of databases and data platforms.
• Independent work style with good judgment.
• Critical thinking to translate requirements into reports.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Experience in complex operational or contract environments preferred.
• Strong project and change-management skills.
• Leadership and coaching abilities.
• Development of standards and best practices.
• US Citizenship required by Navy security guidelines
• CAC card within 90 days of hire
• REAL ID-compliant driver’s license required for base access

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop GWGL Performance Support team, set priorities and standards.
• Translate data into findings, risks, options, and recommendations for leaders and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain performance measures, scorecards, targets, and executive reports.
• Oversee contract and customer performance reports with quality controls.
• Set priorities for dashboards, Power BI, data models, and automated reports.
• Understand operations and contract priorities to identify risks and opportunities.
• Analyze performance, compliance, quality, and service issues and propose improvements.
• Set data collection and definitions standards across sources; promote responsible data use.
• Collaborate with Corporate Data Analytics, IT, Finance, and HR to deliver practical local solutions.
• Maintain safe and orderly work environment.
• Solve problems of moderate to advanced complexity; identify root causes.
• Lead talent development and recruitment within the team.
• Manage projects of low to moderate complexity and drive change.
• Engage with community initiatives and uphold leadership in the function.
• Support continuous process improvement and best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
