NYU Langone Hospital—Long Island is seeking a X-Ray Technologist, FGP - Per Diem - Suffolk Float to perform radiographic procedures with a focus on patient safety and image quality. You will work within departmental protocols and regulatory standards while maintaining HIPAA-compliant documentation.

The position requires an Associate’s Degree or Certificate in Radiologic Technology and NYS licensure or permit, with Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited school.
• New York State Radiologic Technology License required.
• A NYS Permit can be accepted in lieu of a full NYS License.
• Possible licenses: Radiologic Tech - Temp Permit, Radiologic Tech IV-Cert-NYS, Radiologic Tech Lic - NYS.
• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations per physician orders.
• Position patients and equipment to obtain optimal images while minimizing exposure.
• Adjust technical factors to ensure image quality and patient safety.
• Generate high-quality digital images and hard copies when needed.
• Transmit images/reports to PACS/EMR and verify data integrity.

Radiologic Tech - Temp Permit / IV-Cert / NYS License
