Job summary

Peregrine Senior Living in Albany, NY seeks an attentive Server/Waitstaff to provide restaurant-style dining for residents and guests. You will work with the Dining Director to maintain satisfaction with meals and dining programs, set tables per PSL standards, and assist with daily menu reviews.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (GED acceptable) and at least 1 year in food service, with strong communication skills to interact with residents, families, staff, and vendors.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in food service preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the public.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service and promote a restaurant-style dining atmosphere
• Work closely with the Dining Director to keep residents satisfied with food and dining programs
• Set tables in accordance with PSL standards
• Serve residents and guests with beverages as requested
• Review daily menu with residents

Salary:

$16.00 - $17.00 per hour – based on experience

• Minimum 1 year experience working in the food service industry preferred
• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the public
