Job summary

Peregrine Senior Living is seeking an attentive Waitstaff/Server for the Albany, NY area.

This per diem role runs 7:00am–2:30pm on Wednesday and Friday, with weekend availability required. Compensation ranges from $16.00 to $17.00 per hour, based on experience, and includes generous benefits. You will support dining operations and provide excellent resident service in a memory-care influenced setting.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to provide high level customer service in dining settings.
• Effective communication with residents, families, staff, and guests.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service and promote a restaurant style dining atmosphere.
• Work closely with the Dining Director to keep residents satisfied with food and dining programs.
• Set tables in accordance with PSL standards.
• Serve residents and guests with beverages as requested.
• Review daily menu with residents.

Education & Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent certification (GED) preferred
• Minimum 1 year experience working in the food service industry preferred
• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the public
