Job summary

Timberlyn-Heights-Nursing- is seeking a responsible Van Driver to transport residents to medical appointments, outings, and events. You will ensure resident safety, comfort, and punctuality while representing the facility professionally.

The role requires a valid state driver’s license, background check, drug screening, and (where required) CPR/First Aid certification. Experience with seniors or those needing mobility assistance is preferred.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
Experience transporting seniors or individuals with disabilities preferred.
Ability to assist passengers with mobility aids (wheelchairs, walkers).
CPR/First Aid certification may be required depending on facility policy.

Responsibilities

Safely transport residents using a company-provided van.
Assist residents in and out of the vehicle, including those with mobility challenges.
Follow scheduled routes and maintain transport logs.
Ensure the vehicle is clean, fueled, and properly maintained.
Communicate respectfully with residents, families, and staff.
Adhere to traffic laws, safety protocols, and company procedures.
Report vehicle issues, delays, or incidents promptly.
Maintain confidentiality and respect residents' dignity.
