Apploi is seeking a dedicated Van Driver to safely transport residents to medical appointments and to keep the facility vehicle clean and well-maintained. You will work under the supervision of the Facility.

Your duties include coordinating with medical staff, assisting residents in getting in and out of the vehicle, and driving to events as needed. The role requires a valid state driver’s license, one year of experience driving a company vehicle, and a clean driving record.

• Assist residents entering and exiting the vehicle.
• Drive the facility’s vehicle to events and activities when needed.
• Coordinate with medical and nursing staff for transportation to appointments.
• Ensure emergency equipment is available and in good working condition.
• Maintain an incident and accident free driving record.

Descripción del empleo

As a facility Van Driver your primary purpose is to safely transport residents to medical appointments, keep the Facility’s vehicle working properly and in clean condition, and any other responsibilities as may be directed by your Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Transport residents to medical appointments according to established schedules and allotted times.
• Assist residents entering and exiting the Facility’s vehicle.
• Drive Facility’s vehicle to events and activities outside the Facility, as necessary.
• Coordinate with Facility medical and nursing personnel regarding transporting residents to scheduled medical appointments..
• Ensure that emergency equipment (i.e. triangles, fire extinguisher, and first-aid kit) are available and in good working condition.
• Maintain an incident and accident free driving record.

Job Requirements

• Valid state drivers license
• One (1) year experience operating a Company vehicle.
• Must have a clean driving record.
