Required are ARDMS eligibility, OR Sonographer license or temporary permit, and BLS. New grads must obtain ARDMS within 6 months and may require OBMI temporary license with permanent licensure within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Board eligible for ARDMS certification.
• Oregon Sonographer license or temporary license required at hire.
• BLS certification at hire (American Heart Association).
• ARDMS certification within 6 months of hire.
• New graduates must be board eligible and obtain ARDMS within 6 months of hire.
• New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders.
• Utilize a variety of ultrasound equipment and adapt to individual patient needs.
• Provide patient‑focused care in line with Providence mission.
