Overview

Radiology Technologist at Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital (Hood River, OR). Per Diem/Variable Shift.

Responsibilities

• Performs imaging examinations according to physician orders, using a variety of sophisticated imaging equipment, while considering individual patient needs, age, and unique conditions.
• Utilizes clinical knowledge and judgment to ensure proper positioning, radiation dose calibration, and patient treatment to produce optimal high‑quality images.
• Performs all examinations with minimal radiation exposure to patient and operator, maintaining ALARA awareness.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Upon hire: Oregon Radiographer License or
• Upon hire: Oregon Radiographer Temporary License.
• New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association.

Schedule

Job Schedule: Part Time. Job Shift: Multiple shifts available. Pay Range: $34.49 - $53.55.
