Job summary

VillageMD is seeking a detail-oriented Nuclear Medical Technician to support radioligand therapy administration in oncology patients, under supervision of nuclear medicine physicians. The role involves preparing radioligands, administering therapy, ensuring patient safety, and documenting procedures.

This per diem position requires appropriate nuclear medicine credentials, licensure, and experience with radiopharmaceutical handling and imaging equipment.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
• Certification: CNMT or ARRT(N) required.
• State licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and calibrate radioligands per manufacturer guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Administer radioligand therapy under physician direction.
• Verify patient identity and provide education before procedures.
• Monitor patients during and after administration for adverse reactions.
• Document procedures, doses, and outcomes in clinical records.
