Job summary

Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock, CA is seeking a Per Diem Surgical Technologist to support the operating room team. You will apply sterile techniques, assist during invasive procedures, and help ensure patient safety.

Rotate shifts and collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and techs to prepare instruments and maintain asepsis. L&D experience is preferred but not required; BLS certification required.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Surgical Technologist certification or completion of surgical tech program with at least 5 years OR experience; L&D experience preferred
• Current BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Must possess expertise in sterile and aseptic technique and support surgeons during invasive, therapeutic and diagnostic procedures
• Provide quality patient care and assist the physicians and nursing team in the operating room
