Job summary

Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock, CA seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for per diem shifts in the Surgery department. The role requires expertise in sterile technique and collaboration to assist physicians during invasive procedures.

Candidates should have CST certification or completed surgical tech training with OR experience and current BLS certification. Perioperative duties include rotating shifts and holiday coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Surgical Technologist certification or completion of surgical tech program with at least 5 years OR experience.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide sterile technique and support for physicians during invasive, therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.
• Assist with aseptic techniques and instrument handling to ensure patient safety.
• Support the surgical team to facilitate efficient operations and patient care.

Must possess expertise in the understanding and implementation of sterile and aseptic technique. Must combine the knowledge of human anatomy, surgical procedures, and the ability to implement this with tools and technology to facilitate the physicians during invasive, therapeutic and diagnostic procedures. Responsible for providing quality patient care.
