Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a per diem Surgical Technologist to join the surgical services team. You will assist the circulating nurse, pass instruments, maintain the sterile field, and support patient care from pre-op to post-procedure readiness, with emphasis on safety and teamwork.

The role requires graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited program, certification within one year, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment while contributing to quality improvement and patient

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited surgical technology program.
• Certification preferred; must obtain certification within one year of hire.
• New graduate ST to one year of experience.

Aufgaben

• Assists and collaborates with Circulating nurse to set up for surgical procedures with proper instrumentation, equipment and supplies.
• Passes instruments and supplies to the surgeon at the sterile field; anticipates needs during procedures.
• Maintains sterile field and assists in instrument cleaning and maintenance per policy.
