Job summary

Comprehensive Joint & Spine Institute is hiring a PRN Sterile Processing Technician to maintain and care for all surgical instruments and prepare supplies for surgery cases at our ambulatory center.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 1–2 years of sterile processing experience, and prefers certification completion; experience with all sterilizers and OR instrumentation is valued. Per diem position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1–2 years of Sterile Processing experience.
• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing patient conditions.
