Job summary

Inspira Health is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to clean, decontaminate, inspect, assemble and sterilize instruments for Surgical Services and other departments. You will also clean, assemble, inspect and distribute patient care equipment as part of a fast-paced SPD team.

The role requires completing a Sterile Processing Technician Training Program with 400 hours of hands-on SPD experience and obtaining CRCST certification within two years of hire, with CIS and CER as preferred

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of a Sterile Processing Technician Training Program, including 400 hours of hands-on experience in an SPD setting, is required.

Responsibilities

• Clean, decontaminate, inspect, assemble and sterilize instruments for Surgical Services and other departments.
• Clean, assemble, inspect and distribute patient care equipment.
• Perform other duties to facilitate departmental operations.
• Demonstrates superior technical skills and knowledge of all Sterile Processing functions.
